Udemy Instructor Revenue Share Overview

There are 2 main ways here –

• If sales occurs through your link then you wll get 97% of your revenue.

Let’s see what this means.

For example, let’s take you have created your own courses on udemy.

There is an option available for every instructor to copy the link.

$100 x 97% = $97

If someone buys the course using the link then you will get to keep 97% of the revenue.

97% what I mean is If your course is kept for $100 on udemy Then 97% is $97.

$97 is your and the other $3 goes to Udemy takes as a commission.

• Incase, if Udemy promote as ads or if visitor get your course by Browsing in Udemy then instructor receive 37% of revenue share of any course.

Let’s see what this means.

For example, let’s take you have created your own courses on udemy and left it.

due to the udemy algorithm or SEO, your course gets on top of the udemy browse section.

Then Instructor receives 37% of the revenue share.

This is what I mean

let’s take you kept course for $100 for some reason it gets on top of udemy search or Browses then

$100 x 37% = $37

the instructor gets 37 USD and the rest goes to 63 USD goes to Udemy.

This is how both instructor and udemy get the money or you can say this is how they make money.
