Snapcode is a unique QR code that can be used to add friends on Snapchat quickly. To view and share a friend’s Snapcode, you can follow these steps:
- Open the Snapchat app and log in to your account.
- Tap on the ghost icon or your Bitmoji icon in the top left corner of the screen to access your profile.
- Tap on the yellow Snapcode icon next to your username to open the Snapcode screen.
- Tap on the camera icon in the top right corner of the screen to switch to the Snapcode camera.
- Point the camera at your friend’s Snapcode. The app will automatically scan the code and add your friend as a contact.
- To share your friend’s Snapcode with others, tap on the Snapcode screen to bring up your Snapcode, and then tap on the screen again to open the Share screen. From there, you can choose to share the Snapcode via text message, email, social media, or any other sharing method of your choice.
- You can also add a friend on Snapchat by scanning their phone number. To do this, tap on the ghost or Bitmoji icon in the top left corner of the screen, then tap “Add Friends” and select “Contacts.” Snapchat will then scan your phone’s contacts and show you any friends who have linked their phone number to their Snapchat account.
- If you want to make it easier for friends to add you on Snapchat, you can create a Snapcode for yourself and share it on social media, your website, or other online platforms. To create a Snapcode, go to the Snapcode screen and tap on your Snapcode.
- You can then choose “Create Snapcode” and customize it with your Bitmoji or a selfie.
- You can also save a friend’s Snapcode to your camera roll and share it as an image or video. To do this, open the Snapcode screen and press and hold on your friend’s Snapcode until the app prompts you to save it. You can then share the saved image or video with others via text message, email, or social media.
- If you’re having trouble scanning a friend’s Snapcode, you can try using a different device or a different scanning app. There are many QR code scanning apps available for both iOS and Android devices that can be used to scan Snapcodes.
- Finally, remember that Snapcodes are unique to each user and should not be shared publicly or with strangers. Be mindful of who you share your Snapcode with and make sure to only share it with people you trust.
